The Life of John Hancock website has been created by the University of Massachusetts History Club. Our objective is to give honor and recognition to the American Patriot and signer of the Declaration of Independence.
We want to create a resource that will explore the complexity of Hancock’s life and his contribution to the American independence by combining basic facts and in-depth information. It is important to understand the world in which he lived in order to value the role he played in the independence movement. We have gathered historical documents, a wide range of media such as landmark illustrations, portraits and videos to support and enhance research in order to promote excellence in learning.
